Fractional Radio Frequency

Fractional Radio Frequency (FRF) treatment uses electrical pulses to effectively tighten skin and reduce wrinkles.

FRF is one of the most popular and effective treatments available for tightening skin and reducing wrinkles.

Fractional Radio Frequency works by selectively delivering heat energy to the middle and lower levels of skin, stimulating new collagen growth and remains a popular procedure because it can deeply penetrate the lower levels of skin without causing any damage to the surface.

Effectively giving the patient a lunchtime lift with no down time.

We use the latest FRF technology high specification PINXEL-V machine, which is a market leader for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction.

While there are other alternatives for wrinkle reduction available, PINXEL-V  Fractional Radio Frequency treatment is one of the most effective non invasive options for skin tightening.

Popular areas for tightening are the jowls and neck area. It can also be used on other areas of the body, including the back of the hands, arms and abdomen. The electrical impulses give the skin a more refreshed, youthful appearance, and results are clear, even after the first treatment.

Optimum and more extreme results will require multiple treatments. This will all be discussed with your practitioner during the initial consultation.

While results following Fractional Radio Frequency are not as dramatic as traditional facelifts, unlike many facelifts, fractional radio frequency treatment is not a surgical procedure, which means that patients can return back to their daily routine immediately.

Minimal side effects are: possibly a pink flush to the skin or some redness, but this subsides quickly.

This is the ideal treatment for patients who want good results, are happy to spread the treatment over a few sessions - so not having to have an invasive treatment with down time from their daily life or work.

Periorbital

As our skin ages, it can change texture and lose elasticity.

Exposure to the sun’s harmful rays, as well as lifestyle factors such as weight gain, weight loss, drinking alcohol and smoking, can damage skin and speed up the ageing process, which may cause us to look older than we feel.

Skin tightening can be achieved on the face, neck, chest, back or the hands, and abdomen using PINXEL-V fractional radio frequency treatment.

This fractional radio frequency treatment is one of the few non-invasive and non-surgical treatments that is able to effectively tighten the skin.

How many treatments will I need?

This depends on how much tightening the skin requires. A course normally consists of between 4-6 treatments spaced roughly two weeks apart.

Expected treatment outcomes and times will be discussed with the medical nurse practitioner at consultation.

When will I see the results?

Patients will be able to see results approximately one month after the first treatment.

As new collagen continues to be generated and the old collagen stimulated, the skin’s appearance will continue to improve for several months thereafter.

Patients will be able to see increasingly improved results with repeated treatments.

How can it be treated?

We use PINXEL-V fractional radio frequency technology to safely deliver targeted bursts of heat energy to the middle and lowers layers of your skin.

The heat energy tightens the skin’s existing collagen and stimulates the growth of new collagen, which plumps out the skin, making it appear tighter and more youthful.

Will it hurt?

No, most people notice a gentle warming sensation but discomfort is rare.

Unlike a facelift, the treatment is straightforward and non-invasive, so patients are able to return to their daily routine straight away.

Side effects are minimal, many do not experience any at all.

Fractional Radio Frequency Micro-Needling

Fractional Radio Frequency Micro-Needling is a minimally invasive treatment to reduce the appearance of Fine Lines, moderate Lines, Wrinkles, Scarring, Acne Scarring and Sagging Skin and Stretch Marks.

The addition of Fractional Radio Frequency energy to the Micro Needling procedure initiates even further stimulation to the body’s natural collagen and healing processes initiating even firmer, more rejuvenated rejuvenated skin results.

How Does (FRF) Micro-Needling Work?

The FRF energy heats the underlying layers of skin, causing constriction and tightening of the skin, as well as the stimulation of collagen and elastin production.

Because the FRF energy is delivered so deeply, it can produce faster results that are more dramatic.

FRF Micro needling uses a gold plated micro needle device which gently penetrates the skin to deliver radio-frequency deep into the dermal layers of the skin.

The radio frequency heats at depths that provide cumulative and ongoing benefits of collagen stimulation, skin tightening and resurfacing.

Benefits of FRF MicroNeedling

Micro-needling (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a minimally invasive treatment that has been used successfully for decades to rejuvenate the skin.

A device with ultra fine micro needles creates tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin, which triggers the body’s response to micro injury initiating fibroblast cells to create new collagen and elastin.

Results include improved texture and firmness, as well as skin resurfacing. FRF micro-needling adds the element of fractional radio frequency energy to the traditional micro-needling procedure.

The FRF energy is delivered via small needles into the dermis.

In addition to the benefits seen with the micro-injury provided by the traditional micro needles, FRF micro-needling also delivers RF energy deep into the dermis further enhancing skin tightening and scar reduction.

Micro needling and Radio Frequency is used to reduce and improve wrinkles, stretch marks, acne scars and generally improve the tone and texture on the skin.

Results can include smoother, tighter, more radiant skin. Radio frequency has long been used and is a proven technology.

Radio frequency helps stimulate the body’s own natural healing processes and stimulates collagen fibres.

Micro needling and Radio Frequency together give you beautiful, smoother, healthier, younger looking skin.

FRACTIONAL RADIO FREQUENCY MICRONEEDLING RESULTS

Radio frequency micro needling varies in results, depending on the initial skin issue.

FRF micro-needling is suitable for individuals wanting to reduce their wrinkles and fine lines, people with scars, smoker lines and generic skin imperfections such as raised bumps and an uneven skin surface.

After the FRF micro needling treatment, the treated skin will appear refreshed and smoother, with any skin issues minimised.

Results last for an average of around two years, and due to natural ageing of the skin, you will need to revisit us for occasional maintenance sessions to ensure continued clear, fresh, rejuvenated skin.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRADITIONAL & FRF MICRO NEEDLING

FRF micro needling is the same procedure as traditional micro needling, however with the added benefits of radio frequency being distributed deep into the skin layers.

The radio frequency energy is only released when the needles reach the required destination of the skin, meaning any surrounded skin is completely protected.

The FRF technology heats the deeper layers of the skin, resulting in additional tightening of the skin, in addition to the natural encouragement of collagen and elastin production through traditional micro needling.

Radio frequency micro needling enhances the results of conventional micro needling, producing even more dramatic and quicker results.

Yes, we use a topical anaesthetic for 20-30 minutes before your treatment.

How many sessions of FRF Microneedling do I need?

We recommend 3-5 sessions done at one month intervals.

Is there down time with FRF Microneedling?

Downtime is minimal. You may return to your normal routine post treatment.

A mild sunburn feeling is common. After treatment the skin may look a little flushed for a short period of time.
