Thread Lift Packages

Threads

Threads (dissolvable - bio-absorbable surgical sutures) have been around in one form or another since the 1960's.

Naturally technology and innovation has seen the product and the treatments and procedures advance incredibly in recent years...

Threads have 2 main Targets. Skin and tissue Lift and skin and tissue therapy.

Thread lift works by lifting, repositioning and fixing areas of laxity or sagging skin. The result is a very exaggerated pull immediately following the procedure, which, like the skin puckering just above the lift, resolves in 3 - 5 days.

Depending on the Thread lift type used - results may last up to and beyond 2 years and are considered a viable alternative and precursor to facial surgery.

In addition to being perfect for lifting the skin, thread lifts also combat ageing in another way; by encouraging the body's natural healing response, causing the body to generate large surges of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic Acid (HA) to the treated areas.

Thread therapy is a passive non surgical procedure involving the introduction of threads into the target area to reinforce, restructure regenerate and rejuvenate the skin.

The introduction of threads into the tissue results in immediate firmness smoothness and quality.

However the longer term results are even better, with an increase in collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid (HA) to the treated areas, collagen production - brought about by the threads micro trauma the body produces fibroblasts, the little cells responsible for collagen production and elasticity - the quality and structure of the skin improves gradually and consistently over the following months, with additional and further treatments - incredible results can be expected.

Collagen is a major component of your skin and plays a vital role in the aging process.

Results may vary depending on your skin type, treated area, age and whether or not that same area has been treated in the past.

Please note, a thread treatment is not a replacement for a surgical procedure and it may not completely rectify any any existing facial asymmetry.

Follow up appointments are requested one, two and three months post procedure to ensure we can contribute to the prolonging of the initial treatment.

Following the threat treatment, reactions such as redness, tenderness, pain and/or swelling of the area are common and can last up to 14 days.

Less common reactions such as hematoma, necrosis, temporary numbness, thread protrusion, facial nerve trauma, granulomas and facial asymmetry are extremely rare.
